ABOUT US
N.R. College is an institution of higher education that ensures the interactive professional advancement manifested through morality based on strength and synthesis for reverent ethical, social unity, integrity and holistic development. This college was established in 2063 B.S. It is located at the north of Kathmandu Valley at Tarakeshwor – 11, Nepaltar, Kathmandu. It is run by a team of highly qualified, trained, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers. Its motto is to achieve academic excellence for the advancement of knowledge to face challenges in the practical life.
Presently, N.R. College runs Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor in Art’s (BA),Masters in Business Studies (MBS) program, and Masters in Arts (MA_Sociology) programs in affiliation with Tribhuvan University.
OBJECTIVES:
- 1. To provide quality education to those students who cannot afford high expenses in private colleges.
- 2. To provide educational programmes of the highest quality to produce motivated and competent citizens who can contribute to the development of the nation.
- 3. To encourage students from backward and indigenous communities and other under privileged groups.
- 4. To create human resources imparting locally and globally relevant education.
- 5. To develop positive attitude and impart moral values in the students.
Our History
Regarding the history of this college, as per college records, it was established in 2063 B.S. with sincere efforts of some eminent educationists devoted for teacher education in Nepal.
Initially, the college started three years Bachelor’s degree in education with 50 students admitted in the first year (N. R. College admission Records,2063 B.S). As per college record, currently it has more than 1300 students studying at different levels. The college was established to serve theexpectations of the stakeholders by developing and supplying the academic excellence required for nation to serve in different schools, colleges, and education administration.
